Laura Pelzer is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned strategic communications executive with nearly 20 years experience in successfully marketing luxury and lifestyle products.  With an intuitive eye and laser sharp business acumen, her highly strategic, yet elevated approach has become the foundation for her success.

Most recently Laura has been working with boutique brands in Charleston, Atlanta and Sun Valley as well as developing her own new business, The Water Room, with Co-Founder Jessica Morse.

Prior to starting IN/HOUSE, Laura held the position of VP Sales and Marketing for luxury lighting manufacturer The Urban Electric Co. In this role she was responsible for the strategic direction of all of the company's external communications as well as the sales and service teams.  Under her leadership the company experienced incredible growth and established itself as one of the most well-known and respected companies in the industry.

Prior to joining The Urban Electric Co. she created and developed her own brand, Maddison Row, a luxury bridal boutique based in Charleston, SC. Within a few months of opening, the store received national recognition in the pages of Town & Country Weddings and though now under new ownership, continues to be one of the most highly recognized stores in the region.

Laura honed her skills over an extended period as Director of Marketing at Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. in New York where she had tremendous opportunity and exposure to those that do it best.  In this role she focused primarily on the specialty menswear business with clients such as Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, but also led the marketing and advertising strategy for the Golf and Tennis brands.

Other pursuits have included advertising and marketing direction for DPS Properties, a luxury developer of Sporting Clubs in Jackson Hole, Turks & Caicos and The Greenbrier and work with a boutique public relations firm focused on philanthropic efforts for Unilever.
